  • 8/8: The Guardian This time it’s personal. Guy Shrubsole describes how CRAGs are trail-blazing the idea of Personal Carbon Allowances, comparing them to pledge card schemes and highlighting the potential for entrenching low carbon habits in households.
  • 28/6 US National Public Radio (NPR) Individuals unite to Trim Personal Caron Emissions. “Extreme carbon rationing”!! How individuals are taking energy conservation a step further: turning off the TV, wearing sweaters and “trying not to fly”!
  • 21/6: BBC London News profiles Islington CRAG (.wmv video file). Describes how like-minded individuals meet up to monitor footprints and set carbon targets, exploring how members can reduce their footprints and the redistributive aspects of CRAGs.
  • 15/5: BBC News Online 8am: Shower. Save the water. Save the planet. Robert Greenall describes “families going to extreme measures to cut emissions”, profiling two families and how they are striving to reduce their footprints.
  • 21/1: The Guardian Carbon plans that make you cut down. Terry Slavin describes how CRAGgers are “making big changes to their lifestyle to limit their environmental impact”, exploring the implications of the penalty/allowance system.
